Getting git to work with a proxy server

Type on your terminal:
sudo git config --global http.proxy your_user:your_password@your_proxy_address:your_proxy_port

Example:
$ sudo git config --global http.proxy caiomsouza:senha1234@proxy.it4biz.com.br:3122

To reset:
$ sudo git config --global --unset http.proxy
